Terms and Conditions

Kwan Martial Arts reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms at any time. Any such changes will become effective immediately. Your continued use of the Service after the date any such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Acknowledgment

By confirming membership or using the services and facilities of Kwan Martial Arts Academy, I hereby assume all the risks associated with the program and agree to hold Kwan Martial Arts Academy, its instructors, agents, representatives, coaches, students, customers, and volunteers free from any and all liability or actions causes of action, debts, claims or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise by or in connection with my participation in any activities related to participating in all aspects of the program. I recognize the importance of following the instructor's instructions regarding the program's training and other rules, etc, and agree to obey such instructions.
Personal Injury
I am aware that Tang Soo Do Korean Karate is a violent contact art and that participating in the program can be a dangerous activity involving many risks and injuries. I understand that the dangers and risks of practicing include but are not limited to bruises, breaks, serious neck and spinal injuries, brain damage, serious injury to virtually all internal organs, serious injury to virtually all bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons and other aspects of the muscular-skeletal system and serious injury or impairment to other aspects of my body and general health.
Personal Property
I absolve Kwan Martial arts and its Instructors, agents, representatives, coaches and volunteers free from any and all liability with regards to damage to personal property such as Clothing, Jewellery, Mobile Devices, etc.
Photography and Video Imagery
I am aware that photographs and videos may be taken by instructors, agents, representatives, coaches, students, customers, and volunteers during the program and I give permission to have my or my child/wards' likeness be used in promotional forms such as but not limited to advertisements, leaflets social media, etc.
Child Safety Statement
All staff are required to be Garda Vetted. A full statement is available on request
Term Based Booking
Kwan Martial Arts Academy operates on a term-based booking system. Once you are confirmed for a term, you will receive an invoice to be paid in full for the term duration. This reserves a student’s place in the designated class. This is a non-refundable payment that must be paid by the invoiced time. The standard 14-day cooling-off period applies from the invoiced date.
The responsibility is on the student to attend classes. In the event a class has to be canceled, the affected students will be credited the appropriate amount.
Limitation of Liability
I have read the above warning and release and understand its terms, I understand that Tang Soo Do Korean Karate is a violent contact art involving many risks and injuries as outlined above. In consideration of Kwan Martial Arts Academy, I hereby agree to hold Kwan Martial arts and its instructors, agents, representatives, coaches, students, customers, and volunteers free from any and all liability, actions cause of action, debts, claims, or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise by or in connection with my own or my children/wards participation the program. The terms hereof shall serve as a release for my heirs, estate, executor, administrator, assignees, and all my family members.
